| Notes THE PARIS NEWS, Thursday, August 6, 1998, p. 20: “Janet Ballad of Little Rock Ark., died Thursday, Aug. 6, 1998, Gene Roden’s Sons Funeral Home.” THE PARIS NEWS, Friday, August 7, 1998, p. 18: “Janet Denise Ballad. Janet Denise Ballad, 33, of Jacksonville, Ark., died Thursday, August 6, 1998, at University of Arkansas Medical Center, Little Rock. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 8, at Gene Roden’s Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Floy Flowers officiating. Burial will be in Moores Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:30-7:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. She was born in Paris Nov. 16, 1964 to Horace A. and Joan Flowers Ballard. She was a nurse and member of Calvary Apostolic Church in Little Rock. Surviving are her parents who live in Merkel; brother, Horace Ballad Jr of Merkel and Ryan Ballad of Jacksonville; a sister Tammy Ballad of Cabot, Art., a number of aunts, uncles,, nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made to Brazilian Missionary Building Fund, c/o Calvary Apostolic Church, P.O. Box 684, Jacksonville, Ark. 72078.” |
