| Notes THE PARIS NEWS, July 20, 2010: "David Ernest Burden, 64, of Sumner died July 18, 2010, in Paris Regional Medical Center. Graveside services are to be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 22, in Little Vine Cemetery with Rev. Brad Michael officiating. Services are under the direction of the Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home. The family is to receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. He was born Jan. 21, 1946, in Dallas, a son of Raymond and Mary Jo Ormsby Burden. He was an accomplished artist, loved to fish and was a rancher until he retired due to his health. He was married to Edna Ruth Grimes Burden on March 4, 1984, in Paris. She preceded him in death Feb. 18, 2004. He is survived by his sister-in-law, Carlotta Grimes of Sumner; and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers are Steve Almand, David Cox Sr., Michael Crosby, Darrell Beal, Scott Almand and Christopher Crosby. Online condolences may be sent to the family by visiting www.fry-gibbs.com."
