| Notes THE PARIS NEWS, July 04, 2004: 'DEPORT, Edwin T. Upton Jr., 75, a resident of Deport Nursing Home, died Thursday, July 1, 2004, in Paris Regional Medical Center. Interment with military honors will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 7, in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery under the direction of Wood Funeral Home of Deport. A visitation for his friends from Deport Nursing home will be held from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 6, at the funeral home. He was born Oct. 10, 1928, in San Francisco, the son of Edwin Upton Sr. and Emma Marie Carnes. He was a retired security guard and had been a resident of Deport Nursing Home for a number of years. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War. He leaves no family members.' |
