| Notes THE PARIS NEWS, July 12, 2004: 'HUGO, Okla., Joe Tom Beauchamp, 82, of Sumner, formerly of Hugo, Okla., died Friday, July 9, 2004. Graveside funeral services were held at 2 p .m., Sunday, July 11 at Eden City Cemetery in Eden with Brother Haskell England officiating. Services were under the direction of Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Funeral Home. He was born Sept. 4, 1921, in Menard to Newt and Tommie Clendenen Beauchamp. He married Nina Lee Cox in San Angelo on June 8, 1940. He moved from Eden to Hugo where he lived for 25 years before moving to Sumner. He was a self-employed rancher and was a member of the 4th and Jackson Street Church of Christ where he served an as elder for many years. He will truly be missed by all that knew and loved him. He was preceded in death by his parents, Newt and Tommie Beauchamp; and one daughter, Becky Fortson. He is survived by his wife, Nina of the home; one daughter, Patsy Atnip and husband, Robert, of Sumner; nine grandchildren, Wayne Carter and wife, Susan, Stephanie Carter Armstrong and her fiance, Roger Bryan, Shradon Carter and wife, Angie, Brittany Carter and Crystal, Konika Carter, Brent Fortson, Kacy Fortson, Phillip Carter and Tyler Carter; six great-grandchildren, Morgan Carter, Chancey Armstrong Steven and husband, Chris, Elissa Armstrong, Kristi Carter Hall, Amanda Carter and Logan Carter; four great-grandchildren, Cayla Stevens, Dalyn Johnson, Payton Hall and Jaycie Hall.' |
