THE PARIS NEWS, Apr. 12, 2004: 'BOGATA, Minnie Bell Borders, 77, of Bogata died Saturday, April 10, 2004, in East Texas Medical Center in Clarksville. Funeral services are set for 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 13, in First Baptist Church of Bogata with the Rev. Wayne Ramsey and Daniel Borders officiating. Burial will be in Cuthand Cemetery under the direction of Wood Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. She was born May 14, 1926, in Smith County, the daughter of Willie M. and Ruby Lee Smith Moore. She married Ernest Borders on Nov. 21, 1944, in Greenville. He preceded her in death on Dec. 12, 1984. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by a grandson, Micheal Borders; and two sisters, Helen Barnett and Annie Baxter. She is survived by two sons, Danny Borders and his wife, Laura, of Bogata and Tommy Borders and his wife, Charlene, of Deport; grandchildren, Jeanna Smith and her husband, Mike, Daniel Borders and his wife, Melanie, Larissa and Stacey Borders; six great-grandchildren, Josh, Danci, Ethan, Jaden and Lyzni and Lillie Mae; two sisters, Imogene Lindsey of Bogata and Peggy Coffman of Mesquite; and two brothers, Kilborn Moore of Terrell and Bobby Lee Moore of Porter.'
