THE PARIS NEWS, May 04, 2004: “Fred M. Biggerstaff, 69, of Paris died Sunday, May 2, 2004, in Paris Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home with the Rev. Mike Fortenberry officiating. Burial will follow in Meadowbrook Gardens under the direction of Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. He was born April 19, 1935, in northwest Fannin County, a son of Augustus Quenton and Alberta Jones Biggerstaff. He was an accountant working for Rockwell International and was a graduate of Sherman High School, Paris Junior College, East Texas State University and was a member of Providence Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, the former Barbara Jean O’Dea, whom he married on Aug. 19, 1956, in Paris; children, Brett Martin Biggerstaff, Bruce Don Biggerstaff and Tamara Beth Hanson; grandchildren, Travis, Crystyn, Amanda, Chelsea, Jeremy and Alyssa; his mother, Alberta Biggerstaff; and sisters, Barbara Janet Worsham and Anna Margaret Mason.”
