THE PARIS NEWS, Jan. 30, 2004: 'Evelyn Inez Badenna, 72, of Paris, died Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2004, at her residence after a courageous battle with cancer. Funeral services are set for 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 31, in Gene Roden's Sons Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Larry Young officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery under the direction of Gene Roden's Sons Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. She was born Feb. 28, 1931, in New Glauras, Wis., the daughter of Casper and Anna Yaun. She married Charles J. Badenna on Aug. 6, 1966, in Madison, Wis. She worked at St. Joseph's Hospital for almost 20 years and was a member of Peace Lutheran Church. She was a devoted mother, being there for her family whenever she was needed. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles, in 1986; six brothers; a daughter, Debbie; and a grandson, Daniel Paul. Survivors include her sons, Dean Hoffmaster and wife, Patricia, of Reno and Jim Hoffmaster of Rockwall; two daughters, Peggy Sigley and husband, Tom, of Madison, Ohio, and Anne Boehme and husband, Mark, of Hopewell; two brothers, Ray Yaun and wife, Anna, of Belvedere, Ill., and Ralph Yaun of Monroe, Wis.; a sister, Rose Rychnovsky of Marshfield, Wis.; grandchildren, Steven, Michael, Tommy, Shannon, Joe, Desa Ree and Becca; and great-grandchildren, Shelby, Logan, Jennifer, Heather, Christopher, Haley and Coby.'
