THE PARIS NEWS, Jan. 12, 2004: 'BOGATA, Iola Frances Byram, 58, of Quinlin, formerly of Bogata, died Saturday, Jan. 10, 2004, in Baylor University Medical Center. Funeral services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 13, in First Baptist Church of Bogata. Burial will follow in Cuthand Cemetery. Wood Funeral Homes of Bogata has charge of the arrangements. The family will received friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. She was born April, 20, 1945, the daughter of Willie Chester and Dorothy Frances Spears Sheffield. She was preceded in death by a son, Timothy Byram, on Dec. 28, 1997, her parents, and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Spears. She is survived by a son, Bobby Jo Byram II and wife, Melissa, of Quinlan; two grandchildren, Bobby Jo Byram III and Micheal Willie Byram, both of Quinlan; sister, Sandra Kay Furry and husband, Don, of Bastrop; ex-husband, Bobby Jo Byram of Quinlan; nephew, Mike Furry of Giddens; uncles and aunts, Bob and Jean Slaughter of Kermit, Dick and Peggy Massey of Midland and Billie Nolan of Bastrop; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; and many loving friends.'
