| Notes THE PARIS NEWS, Jan. 30, 2004: 'FORT WORTH, Gary Wayne Barnett, 67, died Friday, Jan. 23, 2004, in Fort Worth. Funeral services were held at Shannon Chapel at 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 27. He was placed in the Mausoleum at 3100 White Settlement Road. He was born Aug. 29, 1936, in Olney, the son of Wiley and Loyce Alvada Littlejohn Barnett. He married Estelene Burness. He joined and worked with the ROTC. He is survived by his mother of Paris; one brother, Kevin Burness of Olney; one son, Gil Barnett and wife, Debra, and their two daughters, Sarah and Lindsey of Keller; his daughter, Jeane Roberts and husband, Kirk, and their daughter, Christene of Fort Worth; his daughter, Stacy Gearheart and husband, John, and their three children, Ashlee, Taylor and Evan of Fort Worth; three aunts, Margaret Mitchell of Olney, Mae McKinney of Graham, and Jean Nelms of Paris; one uncle, David Littlejohn of Lordsburg, N.M.; and step-sisters whom he loved very much.' |
