THE PARIS NEWS, Feb. 04, 2004: 'Janie Marie Baker, 55, of Paris, died Monday, Feb. 2, 2004, at Paris Regional Medical Center, at which time Bright-Holland Funeral Home received her into their care. Funeral services have been set for 4 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 4, at Bright-Holland Chapel with the Rev. Mark Sanders officiating. Interment will follow in Union Grove Cemetery. She was born March 3, 1948, in Santa Cruz, Calif., the daughter of George and Mary Kathryn Sikes Grose. She was a unit secretary at McCuistion Regional Medical Center for many years. She enjoyed reading, watching 'scary movies,' listening to her records, gardening and tending to her great niece, Grace. She was preceded in death by her husband, Graylon, in 2002; her parents; one sister, Dorothy L. Grose; and three brothers, George F. Grose, Wayne Grose and Philip D Grose. Survivors include three sisters, Betty Jean Williams of Paris, Mary Tittsworth of Talco and Glenda Harris of Paris; two brothers, Billy Joe Grose of Detroit and Robert Grose of Antlers, Okla.; nine nephews and 11 nieces. Casket bearers will be Mark Jones, Isaac Unruh, James Ray Hadley, Louie Ray Williams Jr., Larry Williams and Bobby Williams. Honorary casket bearer will be Paul Tittsworth.'
