| Notes THE PARIS NEWS, July 20, 2003: 'SHERMAN, M. C. 'Tommy' Thompson, 79, of Sherman died Friday, July 18, 2003, at Post Oak Rehabilitation Center. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 22, at West Sherman Baptist Church. with the Rev. Danny Wood of the church officiating. Interment will follow at 3 p.m. in Resthaven Memorial Park in Corsicana. Arrangements are under the direction of Dannel Funeral Home in Sherman. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 7 to 8 p.m. Surviving are his wife of 59 years, Rosemary, of Sherman; sons, Larry Randal Thompson of Klondike, Bruce Todd Thompson of Adkins and Jimmy Earl Thompson of Grand Prairie; daughter, Julie Beth Roach of Kingston, Okla.; brother, Wayland Thompson of Corsicana; brother-in-law, Howard Wollen of Colorado Springs, Colo.; sister, Katherine Akers and Dorothy McGraw of Corsicana; several nieces and nephews; 11 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.' |
