THE PARIS NEWS, May 29, 2003: 'Edith C. Bramlett, 82, of Paris died Wednesday, May 28, 2003, at Heritage Care Center at which time Bright-Holland Funeral Home received her into their care. Graveside services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday, May 30, at Springhill Cemetery with the Rev. Fred Fangio officiating. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 29, at the funeral home. The daughter of L. L. and Carrie Lane Clarkson, she was born Dec. 10, 1920, in Lamar County. She graduated from Paris High School and later married Richard E. Jackson who preceded her in death in 1956. She then married Rodger A. Bramlett who preceded her in death in 1997. Also preceding her in death were her parents; one brother, A. O. Clarkson; and one sister, Edrey Upchurch. Survivors include four children, Josephine Lewis of Paris, Ann Wilson of Irving, Rickie Stephens and husband, Randall, of Direct and Richard Jackson and wife, Patty, of Appleton, Wis.; one sister, Audrey Smith of Livingston; six grandchildren, John Wilson, Jess Wilson, Cody Stephens, Rancie Stephens, Kyle Jackson and Alicia Jackson; and numerous nieces and nephews.'
