| Notes THE PARIS NEWS, Apr. 30, 2003: 'HONEY GROVE, Nell Dowlen Barker, 84, of Redding, Calif., died Saturday, April 26, 2003, in Redding. Graveside services are set for 11:30 a.m. Friday, May 2, in West Hill Cemetery in Sherman with Brother Elmer L'Roy officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home. She was born June 12, 1918, in Windom, the daughter of Claude Dowlen and Lonetta Dowlen. She married Cleveland Barker, who preceded her in death on Feb. 16, 1985. Survivors include two sons, Robert A. Barker of Virginia Beach, Va. and Dr. Steven R. Barker of Redding, Calif.; a sister, Mary Ann Easton of Dallas; and four grandchildren. If desired, memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.' |
