| Notes THE PARIS NEWS, Apr. 29, 2003: 'MESQUITE, Wilson Burks, 83, passed from this life on Friday, Apri1 25, 2003. Funeral services are set for 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 29, at the Laurel Oaks Funeral Home Chapel in Mesquite with the Rev. Ted Kiser officiating. Burial will follow at Laurel Oaks Memorial Park. He was born Nov. 15, 1919, in Tigertown. He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Marie Killogh; a brother, Eugene Burks; and sons, Gaylon and Roger Burks. He is survived by his loving wife, Chloval; sons, Tommy Burks and Kevin Burks and wife, Belinda; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Estelle Harris; and a host of friends.' |
