THE PARIS NEWS, Mar. 23, 2003: 'Charles E. Bullard, 74, of Paris died Thursday, March 20, 2003, in Christus St. Joseph's Hospital South. Graveside services are set for 2:30 p.m. Sunday, March 23, in Woodland Cemetery with the Rev. James Elson officiating. Gene Roden's Sons Funeral Home has charge of the arrangement. He was born April 10, 1928, in Paris, the son of Hazie and Allie McGlothen Bullard Moore. He was a mechanic at Sam Preston Used Cars on Pine Bluff Street and later with Cagle Magic Flame. He was a Baptist. Survivors include his daughter, Shirley Caughran and husband, Jim, of Lubbock; daughter, Dorothy Tappan and husband, Steven, of Plano; brother, Robert G. Bullard of San Bruno, Calif.; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.'
