THE PARIS NEWS, Mar. 21, 2003: 'Joe Baldwin, 'Cadillac Joe,' 68, of Paris passed away Monday, March 17, 2003, at his home. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, March 22, at Mount Canaan Baptist Church with the Rev. R. C. Bell officiating. Interment will follow at Fairland-Littlejohn Cemetery under the direction of Maxey Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Friday, March 21, at the funeral home. He was born Feb. 20, 1935, to Mac and Edna Baldwin. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and previously employed with the railroad, Red River Trucking and Jordan's Air Conditioning. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Johnny and Cleveland Baldwin. Survivors include his devoted and loving wife of 36 years, Earlene Gordon of Paris; nine daughters, Debra Gordon of Longview, Donna Brown of Reno, Stephanie Brooklyn of Corsicana, Mary Bailey of Paris, Jennifer Thomas of Grand Prairie, Cynthia Brooks of Mesquite, Beverly Gordon of Paris; Roshell Baldwin of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Cathy Baldwin of Galveston; one son, Anthony Gordon of Paris; one sister, Letha Mae Moore of Paris; two brothers, Lonnie Baldwin of Paris and Sam Baldwin of Galveston; 23 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. www.legacy.com'
