THE PARIS NEWS, Jan. 27, 2003: 'CANTON, Pauline Tyler, 82, of Canton died Saturday, Jan. 25, 2003, in Athens. Funeral services are set for 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 28, in the Eubank Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Steve Glosup officiating. Burial will follow in Haven of Memories Memorial Park under the direction of Eubank Funeral Home of Canton. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 27, at the funeral home. She was born Sept. 24, 1920, in Hopkins Co., to John W. and Lela Mae Hodge Junell. She graduated from Athens High School, was a 30 year member of the Jackson Baptist Church, worked for Tom Thumb 21 years and for the City of Canton 26 years. She was a member of the Eastern Star-Stanley Chapter. She delivered Meals on Wheels and passed out lunches at Senior Citizens in Canton. She lived to serve others. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Tyler in 1982. Survivors include a son and his fianceÎ, Jimmy Lee Tyler and Susan Lewis of Mesquite; a grandson and wife, Jimmy Lee Jr. and Kathy Tyler of Lewisville; granddaughters and a grandson-in-law, Jodi and Joe Amaya of Kemp and Chelsye Tyler of Mesquite; sisters and a brother-in-law, Bonnie Featherston of Kemp and Margie and Ed Ryser of Honey Grove; a brother-in-law, Grover Tyler of Dallas; a sister-in-law, Cindy Junell of Eustace; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. Pallbearers will be Larry Junell, Mike Junell, Ike Junell, Steve Junell, Johnny Junell, Shane Starnes, Michael Neusch and William Willis Huddleston. If desired, memorials may be made to East Texas Crisis Center of Canton.'
