THE PARIS NEWS, Oct. 22, 2002: 'BOGATA, Vickie D. Bryant, 48, of Bogata died Sunday, Oct. 20, 2002, at East Texas Medical Center in Clarksville. Funeral services are set for 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 23, in First Baptist Church of Bogata. Interment will follow in Cuthand Cemetery under the direction of Wood Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the First Baptist Church. She was born March 20, 1954, in Clarksville, the daughter of Bill and Salestine Alsup Stewart. She attended Rivercrest High School and was a graduate of PJC School of Nursing, where she graduated with honors. She was director of nurses at Red River Health Care Center in Bogata. She was also a charter member of Bogata First Responders. She married Kenneth Lee Bryant July 23, 1982. He was killed in a motor vehicle accident Feb. 9, 1998. Survivors include her daughter, Leslie Wright and husband, Shane, of Talco; three grandchildren, Alex and Jacob Wright and Brian Johnson; and several nieces and nephews. If desired, memorials may be made to Cuthand Cemetery Association.'
