THE PARIS NEWS, Dec. 27, 2002: 'HUGO, Okla, Faye Drunell Barnes, 88, formerly of Soper, Okla., died Thursday, Dec. 26, 2002, in Oklahoma City, Okla. Funeral services are set for 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 28, at First Baptist Church of Soper, Okla., with the Rev. Greg Hammock officiating. Burial will follow in Sugar Creek Cemetery under the direction of Mount Olive Funeral Home in Hugo, Okla. She was born July 1, 1914, in Soper, Okla., the daughter of Solomon and Nannie Johnson Harrison. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lee Barnes; one son, Ralph Williams; one granddaughter, Jeannie Lewis; one brother, Walter Harrison; and one sister, Lina Chapman. Survivors include a daughter, Wanda Fearon of Oklahoma City; two brothers, Kenneth Harrison of Dallas and Wallace Harrison of Houston; and many nieces, nephews and friends.'
