| Notes THE PARIS NEWS, Oct. 17, 2002: 'HUGO, Okla., Christine Margaret Thompson, 69, of Hugo, Okla., died Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2002, in Paris. Funeral services are set for 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 18, in Victory Baptist Church of Hugo with the Rev. Mutt Wallace officiating. Burial will follow in Rufe Cemetery in Rufe, Okla., under the direction of Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Funeral Home. She was born May 30, 1933, in Rufe, Okla., to Wilson and Kitty Katherine Mayfield Caldwell. She married Joseph E. Thompson in Hugo on Nov. 5, 1948. She lived most of her life in the Hugo area. She worked for Wells Lamont as a seamstress for 30 years. Survivors include two sons, Joseph Patrick Thompson and Ronnie Dale Thompson of Hugo; two daughters, Geneva Mae Songer and Janice Carol Finch of Hugo; one brother, Zedark Daniel Caldwell of Royce City; six grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.' |
