| Notes THE PARIS NEWS, Oct. 25, 2002: 'CLARKSVILLE, Robert Harville Bishop, 76, of McAllen, formerly of Red River County, died Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2002, in McAllen. Graveside services were held at 4:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 25, in Cuthand Cemetery with the Rev. Mike Miller officiating. Clarksville Funeral Home has charge of arrangements. He was born Dec. 7, 1925, in Red River County, the son of Austin and Sarah Harville Bishop. He was a veteran of the Korean War serving with the U.S. Army. He was a retired travel agent. Survivors include his twin brother, Eugene Harville Bishop of Patmos, Greece; nieces, Margaret Pope Dickson, Mary Lou Russell, Sarah Jo Edwards Spencer and Diane Bishop Smith; and nephews, John Austin Bishop and Dan Austin Bishop.' |
