Bright-Holland Funeral Home has scheduled graveside services for 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 18, at Meadowbrook Gardens with Dr. Randall Perry officiating. She moved to the Pleasant Hill community in Lamar County and then to Paris where she worked as a grocery checker for many years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Paris and its Dorcas Sunday School Class, who were all sisters in Christ. She was a wonderful Christian woman and shared her life and faith with many people. She will be greatly missed by many. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers; and two sisters. Survivors include one niece, Barbara Hambrick of Mabank; one nephew, Stanley Hinton of Gutherie, Okla.; two cousins, Louise Elem and Lildale Shahan; one brother-in-law, Joe Ware and Betty Wright of Paris; and special friends, Wayne and Ann Tomblin and Bill and Charlie Reed of Paris.
