THE PARIS NEWS, Sep. 09, 2002: 'HUGO, Okla., Frank Eugene Ticer, 85, of Hugo, Okla., died Thursday, Sept. 5, 2002, at his residence. Funeral services are set for 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 11, in Hugo Chapel Baptist Church with the Rev. Roylia Akins officiating. Rogan Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Navy. He was a member of the Hugo Chapel Baptist Church, Hugo VFW Post and Cunny B.T.W. Alumni Association. Survivors include three sons, John Ticer, Frank Ticer, Jr. and Donnell Ticer, all of Los Angeles, Calif.; one sister, Melinda Hayes of Oklahoma City, Okla.; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.'
