THE PARIS NEWS, Oct. 21, 2002: 'CLARKSVILLE, Dora Mae Barhoover, 80, of Clarksville, died Friday, Oct. 18, 2002, at East Texas Medical Center. Graveside services are set for 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 26, in Crown Hill Cemetery in Warren, Ohio. Clarksville Funeral Home has charge of arrangements. She was born July 3, 1922, in Warren, Ohio, to Harry and Sarah Ferguson Odell. She served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. She married John Robert Barhoover Sr. Oct. 19, 1946. She was a retired secretary and a member of Pineview Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband and son, Joseph Barhoover. Survivors include sons, John Robert Barhoover Jr. of Corland, Ohio and Jeffrey L. Barhoover of Westminster, Colo.; daughters, Terri Henneise of Clarksville; sisters, Katherine Hodge, Louells Jaskolka, Harriet Kassos and Frances Brown; and seven grandchildren. If desired, memorials may be made to The Mail Box Club or Compassion International.'
