| Notes THE PARIS NEWS, Aug. 27, 2002: 'CLARKSVILLE, Dorothy May Thompson, 80, of Avery, died Sunday, Aug. 25, 2002, in DeKalb. Funeral services are set for 2 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 28, in Gravel Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. H. D. Lambert officiating. Burial will follow in Gravel Hill Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Thompson and a son, Ronnie Thompson. Survivors include her four sons, Darrell Thompson, Alfred Thompson and Harold Thompson, all of Artesia, N.M., and Tommy Thompson of Denair, Calif.; one daughter, Deloris White of Avery; one sister, Mary Daniels of Guthrie, Okla.; 15 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.' |
