THE PARIS NEWS, Apr. 16, 2002: 'Glenna J. Brothers, 67, of Roxton died Sunday, April 14, 2002 at her home at which time Bright-Holland Funeral Home received her into their care. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday, April 19, 2002 at the First Methodist Church in Roxton with the Rev. John Edwards officiating. Burial will follow in Restland Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday, April 18 at the funeral home. She was born May 26, 1934 in Baylor County, the daughter of Albert Houston and Ina Lorine Robertson Moree. She married Buford Weldon Brothers in 1950. He preceded her in death in 1969. She attended the Church of Christ and was a beautician. Survivors include her daughter, Debbie Cox and husband Jim of Roxton; one sister, Donnie Brown and husband Lee of Roxton; and two brothers, J. R. Moree and wife Annie of Wichita Falls and Carlton Moree and wife Mary of Roxton. She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Gene Brothers. Casket bearers will be Chris Calisto, Stanley Rutherford, David Rutherford, O. J. Rutherford, Jon Rutherford and Waylon Cherry Rutherford.'
