THE PARIS NEWS, Apr. 08, 2002: 'Gladys Ann Brank, 95, of Paris died Saturday, April 6, 2002 in Paris Healthcare Center. Graveside services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 9, 2002 in the Laurel Land Cemetery in Dallas with Dr. Randall Perry officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Monday at the Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home. She was born on Aug. 21, 1906 a daughter of Bob and Laura Ellen Woffard Bryant. She was a member of First Baptist Church and before moving to Paris she was in the choir and Sunday school class at the Baptist Church in Pittsburg. She was a seamstress making beautiful dresses, including prom dresses. She was active in Home Demonstration Club. She was preceded in death by her husband Edward Brank in 1980 and her son, James Riley Brank in August of 1956; four brothers, Kay Bryant, Doc Bryant, Woodrow Bryant, Willard Bryant; and two sisters, Cecil and Iris Mae (Peggy) Bratt. Survivors include several nieces, nephews and family.'
