| Notes THE PARIS NEWS, May 31, 2002: 'COOPER, Era Evelyn Benefield, 84, of Cooper died Thursday, May 30, 2002 in the Birchwood Manor Nursing Home in Cooper. Graveside services were held at 10 a.m. Friday, May 31, at the Aiguier Cemetery in Hopkins County with Peter Durichek officiating. Delta Funeral Home had charge of arrangements. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Loyd Benefield on July 2, 1992 and her son, John Rex Benefield. Survivors include her son, William Floyd Benefield of Cooper; daughters, Joyce Watkins and Betty Guffey, both of Cooper; her brother, Tom Johnson of Cooper; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.' |
