THE PARIS NEWS, Feb. 15, 2002: 'BOGATA, Opel Isenburg, 93, of Bogata died Thursday, Feb. 14, 2002, in Red River Health Care Center. Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 16, in First Baptist Church of Bogata. Burial will be in Bogata Cemetery under direction of Wood Funeral Home. The family will be at the home of Molee Huddleston in Bogata. Mrs. Isenburg was born Aug. 8, 1908, in Red River Co. to Monroe and Bulah Chance Scoggins. She married Tom Isenburg Feb. 2, 1924, in Halesboro. He preceded her in death Oct, 5 1976. She was also preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Robbie Isenburg, Oct. 26, 2001, and a granddaughter, Nelda Williams, April 16, 1995. She is survived by a daughter, Molee Huddleston of Bogata; a son, Don Isenburg of Lone Oak; a brother, C. M. Scoggins of Dallas; three sisters, Eva Lewis of Bogata, and Melba Byram and Dixie Simmons, both of Dallas, two grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren.'
