| Notes THE PARIS NEWS, Jan. 29, 2002: 'HURST, Reginald 'Reggie' Blackburn, 70, died Sunday, Jan. 27, 2002, in a Bedford hospital. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 30 at First United Methodist Church of Bedford. Burial will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Meadowbrook Cemetery in Paris. Visitation will be from noon until 8 p.m. Tuesday at Lucas Funeral Home in Hurst. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Reggie retired from APAC of Texas in 1994 with more than 42 years of service. His favorite place to spend time was on his farm in Paris. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend. His brother, Billy Lee Blackburn, and grandson, Chad Fowler, preceded him in death. Surviving are his wife, Sybil; sons, James Blackburn and his wife Pam of Euless and Randy Blackburn and his wife Doris of North Richland Hills; a daughter, Marilyn Kay Goad of Venus; a stepson, Danny Lee Yarbrough and his wife Barbara of Coppell; stepdaughters, Patsy Blaine and her husband, Bob of Clovis, Calif., and Debbie Sivumaki and her husband Dale of Great Falls, Mont.; a sister, Sandra Sue Johnson and her husband Buck of Quanah; nine grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.' |
