| Notes THE PARIS NEWS, Wed., July 8, 1981: 'HUGO, Okla. - Mrs. Phoebe Bacon of the Golden Age Home in Hugo, formerly of Boswell, died Wednesday morning at the Golden Age Home. Funeral services are set for 2:30 p.m. Thursday at the First Baptist Church in Boswell, Okla. with the Rev. Larry Stevenson officiating. Burial will be made in Restland Cemetery in Boswell, Okla. Mrs. Bacon was born Oct. 12, 1896 in Choctaw County, Okla., a daughter of Dave and Mame Morris Bacon. She was a lifelong resident of Choctaw County. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Cleo Leverton of Sulphur Springs; three grandchildren, Linda Winsted, Danny Leverton and seven great-grandchildren.' |
