| Notes THE PARIS NEWS, Sunday, Dec. 8, 2001: 'CLARKSVILLE - Henry Burl Barton, 74, of Bagwell, died Thursday, Dec. 6, 2001, at Hospice of East Texas in Tyler. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 9, 2001, in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with Benny Cogburn officiating. Burial will be in Blanton Creek Cemetery. He was born March 29, 1927, in Bagwell to Kirk and Eva Hastings Barton. He married Patty Hobbs on Feb. 26, 1955, in DeKalb. Survivors include his wife; his mother of Clarksville; son Bill Barton of Bagwell; sister Kay Wells of Lamesa; brother Jackie Barton of Bagwell; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, and sister Ida Mae Giles in 2001.' |
