| Notes THE PARIS NEWS, Monday, Oct. 1, 2001: 'COOPER - Doris Pauline Bangs, 85, a former Delta County resident, died Saturday, Sept. 29, 2001, at her home in Dallas. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 3, at Delta Funeral Home Chapel with burial in new Klondike Cemetery. The family will receive friends from noon to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Surviving are two sons, Billy A. Bangs of Dallas and Hulon Bangs of Montgomery; three daughters, Yvonne Turner of Latexo, Betty Jo Witt of Winnsboro, and Joyce Barfield of Dallas, 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Thurman, Ray and L. A. Ellis; a sister, Ileta Rainey; and grandchildren, Jeff Bangs and John Gordon Barfield.' |
