THE PARIS NEWS, Wednesday, Sep. 26, 2001: “Glenda Joyce Ballard, 56, of Paris died Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2001, in Christus St. Joseph’s South. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 27, in Gene Roden’s Sons Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ralph Taylor officiating. Burial will be in Meadowbrook Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. She was born July 3, 1945, in Smackover, Ark. Surviving are her husband, Jimmy; daughters, Teisa Haley and Cindy Harding; sons, Lyndell, Billy, and Johnny Haley; a sister, Patsy Lyle; brothers, Billy Wayne and Joseph Johnson and Charles White; several grandchildren including Kenny Kuykendall, Jimmy Jenkins and Amie Goodbrake whom she reared, and one great-grandchild.”
