| Notes THE PARIS NEWS, Sunday, Oct. 21, 2001: 'HURST - Alice Byrd Temples, 93, formerly of Bogata, died Thursday, Oct. 18, 2001 at Spring Seasons Nursing Home in Hurst. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 21, at Cuthand United Methodist Church with the Rev. Joe Gist officiating. Burial will follow at Cuthand Cemetery under the direction of Wood Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the church following services. She is survived by one daughter, Gwendolyn Kelso and her husband Clifford of Fontana, Calif.; two sons, Johnnie R. Byrd and wife Neva of Hurst, and Bennie Byrd and wife Carolyn of Fort Worth; one sister, Bea Young of Ranger; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.' |
