THE PARIS NEWS, Monday, Dec. 3, 2001: 'CLARKSVILLE - J. V. Baird, 78, of Annona died Sunday, Dec. 2, 2001, at East Texas Medical Center. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 4, at Salem Baptist Church in Boxelder with the Rev. James Brown officiating. Clarksville Funeral Home will make burial in Boxelder Cemetery. Visitation will be at Salem Baptist Church in Boxelder prior to the funeral. Surviving are his wife, Dovie Tucker Baird; sons, Rickey Baird of Boxelder and Rodger and wife Deadra Baird of Boxelder; daughters, Sharon and husband James Dean Floyd of Boxelder; sisters, Katherine Maroney of Boxelder and Virginia Ward of Clarksville; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren."
