THE PARIS NEWS, Friday, March 2, 2001: "William E. ‘Bill’ Bell Jr., 79, of Arthur City died Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2001 at Christus St. Joseph’s Hospital. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 3 in Gene Roden’s Sons Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bill Sanders officiating. Burial will be in Forest Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will immediately follow the service. He was born April 21, 1921 in Slick, Okla. to William E. Bell Sr. and Flora Cearley Bell. He married Virginia A. Biediger on June 2, 1943. He served in the U.S. Air Force and performed auto maintenance at Paris Junior College. Survivors include his wife, Virginia; son, Scott W. Bell and wife Jill of Arlington; sister, Minnie Waggoner of Andrews; grandchildren, Sarah, Sean and Duncan Bell; and three sisters-in-law."

On the same stone with Virginia Bell. Also has military information inscribed, "SMSGT US Air Force - WWII Korea Vietnam."
