| Notes THE PARIS NEWS, Tuesday, January 30, 2001: 'Edith Laverne Littlejohn Baxter, 83, died Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2001, in Mabank Nursing Home. She was born Aug. 9, 1917, to Alexander and Mary Elizabeth Littlejohn and married Jack Baxter in 1931. They had five children, Donald, Elick, James, Raymond, and Pamela Joy. Services were Jan. 26 at Lunn's Funeral Home of Olney, She was buried next to her husband in Belknap. Surviving are her children; three sisters and a brother, Loyce Mills of Honey Grove, Clemmie Mae McKinney of Graham, Gene Nelms of Paris and David Littlejohn of Lordsburg, N.M. and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister, Pearlie Lazaris and a brother, Silas Littlejohn.' |
