THE PARIS NEWS, Monday, January 29, 1951, p. 2: "Mrs. Lynn W. Bledsoe Dies at Cunningham. DEPORT -- Mrs. Lynn W. Bledsoe, 74, of Cunningham, died Sunday at 3:30 p.m. at the home there of her daughter, Mrs. Clyde Bankhead. She had been ill about 2 weeks. The Rev. L. L. Stephens had charge of the services set for 2 p.m. Monday at the Cunningham Pentecostal Church. J. M. Grant Funeral Home making internment in Woodard cemetery near Minter. Mrs. Bledsoe, the former Miss Linnie Crump, was born Oct. 18, 1876. Besides her husband, she leaves these children by a former marriage: Louis Watson, Hale Center, and Otis Watson of Cunningham, besides Mrs. Bankhead, and these brothers and sisters: Thomas Crump, Louis Crump and Mrs. Lou Chance, Cunningham; John Crump, Bogata; Mrs. Ida Rains and Mrs. Eva Jordan, Paris."
THE DETROIT NEWS-HERALD, 1 Feb 1951 from microfilm in Clarksville Library: 'Mrs. Lynn W. Bledsoe, 74, aunt of Mrs. Lloyd Murrell of Detroit, died at Cunningham Sunday at 3:30 p.m. at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Clyde Bankhead. She had been ill two weeks. Services here held Monday. Her husband, 3 grown children and 6 brothers and sisters survive.'
Tombstone is inscribed, "Linnie Bledsoe - Daughter of Seth Crump, Our Mammy." Buried next to infant son of M. A. and V. Haskins and Luther L. Watson. The record of Odis Watson who died 13 Dec 1995 indicates Linnie was married to Luther L. Watson.
