THE DETROIT NEWS-HERALD, 5 Dec 1929 from microfilm in Clarksville Library: "Paulina, the 4 year old daughter of Mr. & Mrs. M. E. Biggers of Paris fell into a tub of boiling water Friday last and died a few hours later. A 10 year old sister was severely burned trying to rescue her. The little one was walking backward talking to her sister when she collided with the tub which had just been set on the floor from the stove."
