THE PARIS NEWS, Tuesday, September 12, 2000, page 8: 'COOPER - Edna Mae Burrow, 93, of Ben Franklin died Sunday, Sept. 10, 2000, at Paris Healthcare Center. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 13, at Delta Funeral Home Chapel with Lee Everett officiating. Burial will be in Meadowbrook Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Mrs. Burrow was born Dec. 7, 1907, in Jackson, Miss., to Isaac and Lanora Lanham. She worked as a nurses' aide for several years and was a member of Ben Franklin United Methodist Church. She married William 'Bill' Burrow who preceded her in death April 16, 1965. Surviving are her children, Nora Faye and Harry Scroggins of Detroit; four grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by an infant son, Curtis Boyd; a daughter, Billie Jean Cherry; and a granddaughter, Brenda Kincade. The family requests memorials be made to Ben Franklin Methodist Church Restoration Fund or Pecan Gap Community Center.' Grave location has not been verified and is assumed to be next to spouse.
