| Notes THE PARIS NEWS, Thursday, January 4, 2001: "Winnie D. Barnett, 70, of Paris died at 8:15 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2001, at Paris Nursing Home. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 5 in Fry and Gibbs Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Wilbur Simmons officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. She was born Oct. 31, 1930, in the Atlas community to C. H. and Ollie Mae Ables Barnett. Surviving are brothers, Ray V. Barnett and wife Shirley of Paris and Billy Barnett of Pottsboro; a sister, Ila Ruano of Dallas; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents." |
