THE PARIS NEWS, Tuesday, March 19 1935, p. 5: "DUBBARD TERRELL DIES OF BURNS. ROXTON -- Dubbard Terrell, son of Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Terrell died at their home south of Brookston at 10:30 o'clock Tuesday morning, the result of burns suffered when he fell against a hot stove, knocking over a pot of food on himself, March 3. He was badly burned about the head and shoulders."

THE DETROIT NEWS-HERALD, 21 Mar 1935 from microfilm in Clarksville Library: "Funeral services were held at Pecan Gap Wednesday for Dubbard Terrell, 17, who died Tuesday at his home near Brookston of injuries from falling against a stove and knocking a pot of food over his head and shoulders, Mar. 3. The youth is survived by his parents and 2 brothers."
