| Notes THE PARIS NEWS, Sunday, May 14, 2000 page 8: 'BOGATA - A memorial service will be held for Myrtle Thomas at 10 a.m. Monday, May 15, 2000, at Lone Star Methodist Church. Mrs. Thomas was born in Clarksville Feb. 3, 1909. She died Dec. 20, 1998, in Las Vegas, Nev. The Rev. Don Shovan will officiate at the memorial service under direction of Wood Funeral Home of Bogata. Survivors include daughters, Louise Gore of Grand Prairie and Dorothy Borba of Las Vegas; four grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. She was followed in death by two daughters, Kathryn Brubaker of Hemet, Calif., Blanche Childres of Lone Star community and a granddaughter, Charlotte Bishop, also of Lone Star community.' |
