He was born in Detroit, Red River Co. TX on 8 Dec 1902. He was the son of Lee Roy Bunch & Sallie Elizabeth Lamb (Bunch). Father Born - 15 Jun 1872 in Mo. Father Died 18 Jun 1951 at Paris, Lamar Co. TX. Father Buried at Bluff Cemetery Detroit, Red River Co. TX. Mother Born - 11 Jul 1878 (believed Ms.) Polk Co. Ar. Mother Died - 31 Dec 1950 at Detroit Red River Co. TX. Mother Buried- Bluff Cemetery SSW Lee Bunch Detroit, Red River Co. TX. John Wesley Bunch was married on 22 Aug 1925 to Edna Irene Hogan in Red River Co. TX.
    Their children were:
