| Notes THE PARIS NEWS, Monday, April 10, 2000, page 8A: 'HUGO, Okla. - Margaret Elizabeth Bates, 74, of Hugo died Saturday, April 8, 2000, in Christus St. Joseph's Hospital, Paris. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 11, at Mt. Olive Funeral Home with the Rev. Wayne Higginbotham and the Rev. Aaron Meraz officiating. Burial will be in Sawyer Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-6 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Surviving are a son, Alan Bates of Greenville, Texas; a daughter, Joyce Burton of Hugo; a sister, Betty MacKenzie of Pearl River, La.; a brother, James White of Elko, Nev.; and two grandchildren.' |
