THE PARIS NEWS, Wednesday, June 16, 1999, p. 4B: 'HUGO, Okla. - Mary Thornburgh, 87, of Fort Towson died Tuesday, June 15, 1999, in Hugo. She was born Sept. 2, 1911, in Fort Towson, a daughter of Ora Thornburgh and Mattie (Teeters) Thornburgh. She worked 20 years in the Farm Service office in Hugo. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 17, in Mt. Olive Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. W. Neal Thornburgh and the Rev. Bob Thornburgh officiating. Burial will be in Fort Towson Cemetery. Survivors include a brother, Webb Thornburgh of Fort Towson; three nephews, Bill Thornburgh of Mesquite, W. Neal Thornburgh of Omaha, Texas, and Bob Thornburgh of Swink; three nieces, Betty Golden of Hugo, Ruth Baskin of Antlers and Rita Peddy of Hugo; 14 great nephews and nieces and 16 great-great nephews and nieces.'
