| Notes THE PARIS NEWS, Monday, Nov. 9, 1998, page 4B: 'HUGO, Okla. - Doris Smith Bell, 87, formerly of Hugo, died Friday, Nov. 6, 1998, in Killeen, Texas. Services were at 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 9, at Miller and Miller Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Charles Green officiating. Burial was in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. She had traveled with Carson and Barnes Circus working as a cook for the circus diner. She was preceded in death by a sister, Billie Grubb, and a brother, C. B. Stringfellow. Surviving are a son, Jim Smith of Killeen; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.' |
