| Notes THE PARIS NEWS, Tuesday, November 30, 1999, page 10A: 'Martha 'Sunny' Collins Upton, 87, formerly of Paris, died Friday, Nov. 26, 1999, in West Side Care Center, Fort Worth. Services will be Saturday, Dec. 4, at Mt. Olivet Cemetery Cemetery under direction of Mt. Olivet Funeral Home in Fort Worth. She was born in Tigertown Feb. 22, 1912, to Wallace and Clara Ward Collins. She married Dee Upton in 1938. Surviving are two sisters, Helen Morrison of Columbia, La. and Elsie Lee Blankinship of Midland; two nephews and three nieces including Corrine Campbell of Paris. She was preceded in death by her husband; daughter, Gayle; sister, Edna Shipman; and brothers, Forest and Troy Young Collins.' |
