THE PARIS MORNING NEWS, Friday, June 25, 1926: 'County Commissioner Ed Bonham received a message Thursday from Amarillo announcing the death of J. H. Blake, who was a young man and was a brother of the late Noah Blake, who was a well known lumber dealer in Paris. He is survived by a family. Mr. Bonham was not advised as to the funeral arrangements, but burial will doubtless be at Amarillo.'
